Four more days until my birthday, which means there are three more days in my self-imposed spring cleaning period. I have a LOT to get done in those three days, but because I decided that one of my birthday presents to myself is a 4-day weekend this coming weekend, it also means I have a lot less time for cleaning after work each day. I'm working 8 hour days today, Tuesday and Wednesday, so that I get a normal 6-hour day on my birthday.
I feel like I have a head full of cottonballs today. I couldn't find my blood pressure meds for a few days recently, so while I was keeping up with my other meds, I didn't take those, and that combined with the crap I've been eating lately has elevated my blood pressure enough that I'm feeling stiff and sore and creaky. I managed to find them this morning, thank goodness, so I'm back on them - a couple days and I should be back to normal. Of course, going back on them today means I'm running to the bathroom at least once every half hour, which is rather annoying.
I also didn't sleep so well last night - my CPAP is in desperate need of a good cleaning, which I will do tonight, come hell or high water. Anyhow... time to make a to-do list for the next week or so, to keep myself on track.
To-do by Wednesday evening:
- put all the laundry away and do another load or two
-find the ivory fitted sheet
- take the shredded boxspring cover off the bed, and then make the bed up with the ivory sheet and our new bedding (YAY I finally got new, MATCHING bedding)
- move the alarm clock back to my nightstand
-tidy the kitchen back up
- wash the kitchen floor
-tidy the living room back up
- clean off the kitchen table
- clean off the piano
- tidy up the patio
- bake cupcakes for Thursday
and the big one...
- clean the effin' den!
Other stuff to-do, but less urgent to have done by Wednesday
- buy a plant for the bedroom
- put the new lamp together
- go out to Bed, Bath & Beyond and pick out some sort of candle sconces or something for the bedroom
- find some art for the bedroom wall
- cut out my red apron dress and/or white linen hood so I have something to work on at the event this weekend (besides entertaining Ian)
