Jul. 3rd, 2009 09:24 pmi. I stood up to the roommate this afternoon and damn it felt good.
ii. My hair is now long enough to put into a low braid again. This makes me VERY happy. Seeing people on Twitter talking about changing their hair, plus some angst this week, made me have a brief urge to chop it off again but I made it through it without doing it, and I know I will be happier for it in the end.
iii. It's scorching out and my feet are swollen because of it. However, spraying them with the Peppermint Cooling Foot Spray I have from the Body Shop makes them feel a million times better.
iv. Sitting topless in front of my desk fan on days like today is bliss. And in another 2 days, I will be able to do it whenever I want, not just once the roommate has gone to bed.
v. My shaman just hit 66. She was 62 on Wednesday evening. Sadly I am now out of rested experience. She's getting parked in an inn for a little while, while I go quest on my paladin again. I had been waiting for Ian's druid to catch up to her in quests, but we won't be getting much overlapping playtime in the next month so I said to hell with it.
vi. Work today was insane. Days like this make me want to change practice areas, because the stupidity of some clients is just flabbergasting.
vii. My landlords are gone this weekend, which means no screaming baby upstairs for 2 days.
viii. I am going to miss my gas stove to cook on when we move, but one thing I'm not going to miss? The flame on the gas stove going out because I was trying to cook something on low. Pfeh, stupid stove.
ix. I am REALLY looking forward to seeing Ian tonight. I'm sure it's because gone back to afternoon shift, but I feel like I haven't gotten NEAR enough time with him lately. I miss him terribly. When he was on days, even on the days we didn't see each other, we talked every evening, and even if we weren't actively chatting, he was just there. I love that and I miss it.
x. I actually started a craft project last weekend. It's a carrier for my bow, arrows and other archery gear, designed to be slung across my back. It's mostly a prototype, since I'm making it out of fabric leftover from my newest apron dress, which is a little light for the purpose, but we'll see how it works.
