Jun. 9th, 2010 11:55 amSo, last Saturday was Sealion War, which was held at a campground way out in Aldergrove. I had been planning to take Ian with me, but we didn't want to leave the dog home by himself for that long, so he ended up staying home. I stayed longer than I had intended, but was having SO much fun at the bardic fire that I just couldn't drag myself away.

This is the event that I was making the 12 sets of beads for, and I was done in plenty of time, thank goodness. Poor Elspeth spent well into Saturday afternoon finishing the last of hers.

Here's a pic of all 12 sets together - individual pics of each set are over on Flickr.
And... I FINALLY got a picture of some embroidery I did years ago. Back when I was the Mistress of Arts & Sciences for Lions Gate (which was back in 2005/2006-ish), I was asked to embroider the Lions Gate device for the patch to go on the kneeling cushion for the upcoming (at the time) Principality. It was such a rush job that I never did get a picture of it, and then I went on my hiatus. I managed to catch a lull in the activity where the kneeler was out with no royalty in front of it, so I took the opportunity to pull out my camera.
