sick and tired
Sep. 8th, 2009 10:59 amI am just a big ol' ball of frustration and hurt right now. I just finished a 4 day weekend, and to put it simply, it pretty much sucked rocks.
A week ago Saturday, Ian came down with a cold. A simple headcold. For him, it lasted 3 1/2 days, and it was pretty much gone by Tuesday morning. Which is about the exact same time I came down with the same cold. Of course, it couldn't just be a simple headcold for me. Oh no. I spent the first 3 days with a headcold, but then when the weekend hit... it moved into my lungs. I pretty much spent my entire 4 day weekend feeling like death warmed over. Sunday and Monday were especially fun, since I spent them doing nothing but sitting there, because every time I tried to exert myself, I started coughing again. I coughed so much this weekend that my entire
ribcage is sore.
Fortunately, I seem to have turned the corner and am feeling significantly better today. No coughing fits yet, my sinuses are clear, and overall I feel much, much better. Let's hope it stays this way.
Because I'd really like to start cleaning up my absolute DISASTER of a condo today after work.
