Being sick sucks. I did manage to catch what Ian had after all, and by the time I left work yesterday I was sniffling up a storm. My nose is half stuffed up and I'm having to blow it really frequently. Fortunately, it hasn't moved into my chest at all, and let's hope it stays that way.
I briefly contemplated saying screw it to doing the housework last night, with the idea that my cold gave me an excuse to spend the evening vegging, but in the end, I didn't do that, and instead spent most of my evening working on the house. I'm pretty pleased with how much I accomplished, actually, and should be able to finish the rest up this afternoon before my raid. And then the carpet will all be clear and I can properly test out our new vacuum. :)
I also moved a bunch of craft supplies into clear plastic totes, so that the cats can't get into them but I can still see what I'm looking for easily. While I was at it, I untangled the yarn for my swan lake stole, so now I just have to hook the printer up and re-print the pattern, and find the vial of beads and I'll be good to go on it.
