procrastination, I has it
Jul. 9th, 2009 02:20 pmI was so prolific last week, and then this week has been the complete opposite. I've been pretty frazzled lately, alternating between packing, procrastinating on packing, and working on my 101 things list.
Once the move is done, I'm going to start participating in the Day Zero Project, also known as the 101 things in 1001 days project. I've got my list all done, and I've even gotten to the point where I need to cull it down by a few items, but I'm going to wait until I'm starting to actually post the list. I'm still debating whether to start on August 1st or September 1st - September 1st would give me a chance to get the new apartment set up and organized first, so that doesn't interfere with the other stuff.
I realized recently that I really need to post a picture of Onyx... he's gotten SO huge! I miss the tiny little kitten I brought home who used to snuggle up on my chest while I played on the computer, but he's become a sweet and cuddly adult cat who is just as awesome as the tiny little kitten he used to be. If I don't lock him out of the bedroom at night, I typically wake up with him lying across me, kneading my chest and the duvet. It's cute when he remembers to keep his claws sheathed; when he doesn't... ouch. It will be interesting to see how he handles the move. Amber's been through 3 moves with me and will be just fine, onces she realizes that she can't go run around outside anymore. I've been keeping her indoors for about 2 weeks now (except for when the roommmate was doing his move, since that was an exercise in futility), and she's starting to get used to it. She's also becoming less bitchy as the fleas die off. (Gross, I know, but pretty much inevitable in this climate and with her going outdoors all the time).
In WoW news, the shaman is awfully close to hitting 70, and the paladin hit last 77 last night, which then prompted me to drop about 7000 gold all at once, on regular flight, epic flight, cold weather flying and mounts. A lot of gold, but so worth it. And it's just pixels, and I can earn more. I still have enough saved to help Ian out with his own epic flight and get epic flight on my shaman when she hits 77.
