sometimes, I'm a ditz
Apr. 24th, 2009 10:31 amHappy Friday, everyone.
I'm having an issue, and I'm wondering if anyone else does this as well? I sometimes plan out LJ entries in my head, when I have things to post about but either am not at a computer or don't have the time to actually post right at that moment. Occasionally, I will get a post all written in my head and then completely end up forgetting to actually WRITE the post, and then I will think I posted but I didn't so when I go to reference that post in the future, it's not there.
Ok, yeah... I'm so not a blonde, but sometimes I act like one. /facepalm
Anyways, here's the post I wrote in my head a few weeks ago but apparently never actually posted:
My boyfriend is a very naughty boy. (I would say he's going to get a spanking, but... he'd probably like it).
Ian has an iPhone. It's his only phone, so he's always got it with him. He's got a data plan on it, and when we're out and about, he's quite fine with letting me use it to check things on the net. A few weeks ago, we were out having a late lunch at the Irish Heather in Gastown, and I borrowed his phone to check something on the web.
The iPhone uses Safari as its web browser, and apparently Safari saves the last webpage you were looking at when you close it down. I opened up Safari to do whatever it was I wanted to do, and the last page it was on? My LJ userinfo!
Now, I'm not mad or angry or anything. I mean, I'm the one who's made my LJ almost 100% public (and that was totally intentional), and in any case, the userinfo page is totally public as well, and I've mentioned Livejournal before in conversation with him, and he's smart enough to extrapolate what my username would be, considering it's the same pretty much everywhere. He might've told me instead of letting me find out how I did, but in any case, I can't be upset with him (and actually, his reaction to certain things in my userinfo was rather nice.) I just wanted to tell the story as it's good for a laugh, and tell him he's naughty! :)
I tried to get him onto LJ as well (heck, his mom and one of his sisters is already on here), but he resisted. Something tells me he probably checks in periodically to see what I've written, so when you see this Ian... I love you sweetie! <3
