ravnsdaughterI just checked my email, and discovered an email I hadn't actually expected to get.
Back in December, the day after I lost my job, actually... I applied for a job posting up on the government job search website, for a position as a legal assistant with the Department of Justice. The email I got today stated that my application had passed the merit screening for the job, which is the first step in the process. OMG! Next step is a 3 1/2 hour written test, which I have just left a message with their HR to schedule. If I pass that, then I get an interview.
