ravnsdaughter: (old books)
[personal profile] ravnsdaughter
I started the Day Zero project a while back, and then totally forgot to keep up with it. It's been long enough and I'm behind enough that I don't think I could finish the goals I set in the time allotted, and things have changed enough in my life to make some of my original goals impossible (like the baking ones), so I've decided to restart. I've gone through my list, removed a few goals, and come up with new ones to replace them. Here they are:

The Mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in 1001 days
The Criteria: Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measureable, or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of effort on your part).

Today is day 1, and 1001 days is up on February 23, 2013.

Items in italics are in progress, items that are struck through are complete.

(Things that I had on my original list that were completed:
- get my eyes tested and get glasses if necessary
- get a passport
- learn to drive a stick shift
- pare down my wardrobe to only things that fit and what can fit in my closet without being stuffed to the gills
- find a hairstyle that suits me and doesn't require much maintenance

*hugs* and good luck. I have a "wish" book (where I write down good thoughts for people, sort of like my non-religious book of prayers) and I will put you in it. Keep us posted!
