more beads!
May. 16th, 2010 02:27 pmHere are the two sets I made on Friday night. I've started naming the matched sets I'm making.

Elaine - named after a friend whose favorite colors are purple and green.

Sunshine Coast - I posted on twitter looking for color combination inspiration, and
belowthe49th suggested yellow or orange in honour of the gorgeous weather we've been having lately. This set was the result.
( another picture, but not of my work )
After I finally got the boyfriend out of bed yesterday, we headed off to do the one major thing we had planned for the weekend - getting patio furniture. We got a gorgeous little set made from acacia wood at Ikea. I also picked up a few more things for organizing, and a couple plants, because I've become right obsessed with plants now that I have found that I can actually grow them AND keep the cats away from them. We also stopped at Farmtown, where we got some realy nice steaks, and then went to Choices Market, where we bought MORE steaks. We hadn't intended to, but they were gorgeous AND an amazing price, so we figured what the heck. I also picked up a bag of the new cat food that Ian's work is carrying, so I can test it out on my cats. If it doesn't upset Onyx's stomach, I'm going to switch them to it because I can get one heck of a deal by buying it through Ian's work (at 20% off wholesale). Plus it's organic and homeopathic (this I don't really get, but that's what it says on the package), and made with LOCAL fish and chicken. Nice!
Yes, my kitties are spoiled. But they're worth it!
